Terms of service

Last updated 27 October 2026

The short version: the core is free, paid apps are month to month or yearly and you can cancel any time, your content stays yours, and you’re in charge of the deals you make with promoters.

1The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and DJme for using the DJme website and app. By creating an account or using DJme you agree to them. If you use DJme for a company, label or agency, you confirm you can accept these terms for it. [Legal review: add company legal name, address and governing law.]

2Your account

  • You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
  • Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, including actions by team members you invite.
  • Give accurate information, and keep your handle free of names or marks you don’t have the right to use.

3Free core, apps and VIP

The core console is free. Add-on apps and VIP are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe at the prices shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Taxes may be added.

New accounts get 14 days of VIP for free. No payment details are needed for the trial, and it doesn’t turn into a paid subscription on its own. When it ends, apps you haven’t subscribed to lock until you add them; your data isn’t deleted.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your workspace. It stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it. If we change prices, we’ll tell you in advance and the new price applies from your next billing period.

4Your content

You own what you put into DJme: your bookings, contacts, documents, photos, mixes and music. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you, for example to show your press kit publicly or deliver a promo to a DJ’s inbox.

Only upload content you have the right to share. Labels and producers confirm they hold the rights to the music they send. Don’t upload anything unlawful, harmful or that infringes someone else’s rights.

5Contracts, invoices and payments between you and others

DJme helps you prepare and sign contracts and send invoices, but the agreement for a show is between you and the promoter, and you are responsible for its terms. Templates are a starting point, not legal or tax advice. Withholding tax figures are estimates to help you plan; check them with an adviser. Payments from promoters are processed by Stripe under its own terms.

6Acceptable use

  • No spam, including unsolicited promo blasts to people who haven’t opted in.
  • No attempts to break, overload or get around the security of DJme, or to access other people’s workspaces.
  • No scraping or reselling the service without our written permission.
  • No impersonating another artist, label or promoter.

7Copilot

Copilot generates suggestions with AI. They can be wrong or incomplete, so review anything before you rely on it or send it. You’re responsible for what you send.

8Availability and changes

We work to keep DJme available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” and we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we’ll give notice and a fair remedy. [Legal review: confirm warranty disclaimers for consumer law in target markets.]

9Liability

To the extent the law allows, DJme isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost bookings or profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law. [Legal review: confirm caps and consumer carve-outs.]

10Ending the agreement

You can stop using DJme and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable. After closure you can ask us for an export of your data for a limited time.
